About Us

Ground Zero Radio is a new electronic music radio station coming to DAB Digital Radio in Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, Buckingham, Leighton Buzzard and surrounding areas. We aim to provide a platform for new and upcoming DJ and production talent, an opportunity to play in a professional grade studio and to be heard on a real radio station not just another Internet stream... although a mobile app and smart speaker stream will of course be available too.

Our aim is to re-create the sound of the old school pirate stations heard in the 90's and 00's playing tracks right up to the present day. Station output will be primarily music focussed and offer an alternative to the same old pop tracks and endless adverts heard on the mainstream stations. Unlike the pirates, we will be Ofcom licensed and broadcasting legally.

Call yourself a DJ?

We are currently seeking individual DJ presenters and DJ+MC combos to contribute regular shows for the station which we hope to launch in September 2025.
